Maker, Lafayette Radio Electronics Corporation, Instrument Division, Long Island New York, Made in Japan Item, Lafayette 5 Pocket Slide Rule No. Standard S, L and T Scales Condition, This is in wonderful minty condition. Only original box shows some wear. Rare to find it in mint condition. It looks unused, still has the box, the booklet, and leather case. I think I may have been the first to ever open it.

As the rulers each have a logarithmic scale, it is possible to align them to read the sum of the logarithms, and hence calculate the product of the two numbers.
